Wound Care. St. Joseph’s Home Care nurses treat patients with a full range of wounds including those from surgery and trauma as well as chronic wounds.

Palliative Care. St. Joseph’s Home Care delivers compassionate care and comfort to clients facing death, their families and caregivers.

Intravenous Care. More and more types of intravenous therapy are being offered at home, whether people need fluids, medication, or even chemotherapy. St. Joseph’s Home Care nurses can provide a wide range of intravenous care.

Pediatric Services. Trained staff offer pediatric care in the area of central line management, wound management and medication administration. There is also respite care for families.

Respiratory Care. St. Joseph’s Home Care nurses provide ongoing care for clients with chronic obstructive lung disease, emphysema, cystic fibrosis and other respiratory conditions. The focus of respiratory care is to stabilize the client, decrease their visits to the hospital, and shorten their hospital stays.

Mental Health. Registered nurses provide ongoing consultation and teaching to unregulated staff working in community group homes for developmentally challenged adults and children.

Private Duty and Shift Nursing Program. St. Joseph’s Home Care provides registered staff to offer “one on one” care for shifts greater than 2 hours to clients who reside in Hamilton. Our nurses ensure that the emotional and physical comforts are met. Please call the office to discuss how we can meet your needs.

Immunizations. A St. Joseph’s Home Care registered nurse or a specially trained registered or licenses practical nurse can give vaccinations in the workplace or other community settings. Immunization programs include flu shots, hepatitis, tetanus and diphtheria, pneumonia, chicken pox, and meningitis.
