  95% of clients contacted said they were satisfied and most had friendly comments like the ones below to say about the quality of care provided.

 
2. Does the STJHC staff treat you with respect?

  100% of the clients surveyed said the staff treated them with respect, and the staff is quite friendly!

 
3. Are these services helping you live as independently as possible in your home?

“Yes the services are helping me live as independently as possible, because there are just some things I can’t do. The service provided allows me to get what I can do by myself, and live at home independently instead of at a nursing home.”

Other comments by clients were very similar and 100% said that services provided by St. Joseph’s Home Care help them to live as independently as possible in their home.

“She (referring to Staff) is very nice, very helpful. The services St. Joseph’s Home Care allows me to live very independently and I hope it will help me live as independently as possible and for as long as possible.”

4. Are you comfortable talking to staff?

97% of people surveyed said they were very comfortable and it was easy talking to the staff. Some commented that they think of the staff as a friend.

5. Is staff responsive to your care needs?

“Extremely happy with service, staff is very helpful and responsive to my needs. She was very quick to learn everything I needed done. She was always in a pleasant mood and easy to talk to.”

“I was very pleased, and the staff was very accommodating, nice to talk to.”

 

6. Do you feel safer in your home because of the care you receive?

100% of the clients surveyed said yes they do feel safer because of the care they receive.

 

7. Do you agree with the statement that the staff providing your care are concerned with your safety?

  100% of clients surveyed said yes they do believe that the staff that provides their care are concerned with their safety. “ No doubt about it!”

 

8. Have you ever expressed a concern of filed a complaint?

 6% of clients surveyed said that they have expressed a concern or filed a complaint.

 

9. If yes, were you satisfied with the way in which your complaint or concern was handled?

  100% of those who filed a complaint said they were very happy with the way it was handled.
